St. Anne's congregation traces its roots back to 1858, when Rev. Mother Annammal established the first community with four widows under the patronage of Saints Anne and Joachim in Tamil Nadu . Over the years, the congregation has grown in both size and spirit, fostering a welcoming environment for individuals from diverse backgrounds. Guided by the charism of the Foundress "Simplicity in Life and Service to the Poor", St. Anne's is committed to serving its members and the broader community through acts of compassion, outreach initiatives, and spiritual enrichment programs. Today, St. Anne's remains a beacon of faith and fellowship, continuing to uphold its longstanding tradition of unity, service, and devotion to the greater good.
